Default Temple of ages: other gods

At the temple of ages, there are more than 2 gods (grenth and balthazar), yet they are the only ones which offers levels..... Are the other gods simply not implemented yet ? i thought fassa required mesmer and melandru needed ranger, but thats not the case...... they dont even show cost.. so are they not implemented ? just need a heads up ^^

I think it would be interesting to add a new region accessible through ToA for each chapter. The following are a few concept ideas for such areas.

I had meant to post this in here a long time ago, but since there had been little to no input on ToA other then just finding it in here before, I figured What the heck... Why not?

Proposed for regions for each existing Avatar in temple of ages:
================================================== ========
Melandru's Watcher
Yes. To Service of Melandru (1 Platinum)
Beyond the Falls.

(Area North and West of The Falls)
This area would be populated by large high level mobs some with Pets.
Area would have many classes of pets of various levels to be charmed.
Bosses in this region may be Undead rangers some with underworld style creatures as pets.
(Features a collector with special bows and possibly Armor for pets.)
(May be a good area for Mounts to be tested in for the future.)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lyssa's Muse
Yes. To Service of Lyssa (1 Platinum)
Ruins of Orr.

(Region the Pillar at login screen is located in on map)
(Catacombs / Sorrows Furnace type map.)

An Air locked region of Orr under the surface in the bay south east of Lions Arch. Similar to Jade Sea mission areas in concept.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Avatar of Dwayna
Yes. To Service of Dwayna (1 Platinum)
The Source of Faith.

The area North of Dragons Gullet, Overrun with High level Charr
(Similar to Charr Titan quest).
(Region the charr came from before over running Ascalon region.)
(Possible Gwens final destiny location) (Lich using Gwens form to spy on Ascalon)

Features many Mobs of high level Charr with a final Charr Stronghold where we find the Lich had influenced their Faith to turn them against the people of Ascalon by using the Titan bosses from the final titan Quest. Possibly Undead Charr Bosses...
Undead Gwen Restored to Cleanse the region before continuing to underworld.

Existing:========================================= ==========
Voice of Grenth
Yes. To Service of Grenth (1 Platinum)
Underworld. (many repeatable Quests and charmable spider pet)

Champion of Balthazar
Yes. To Service of Balthazar (1 Platinum)
Fissure of Woe. (Many repeatable quests and Fissure Forge Master for Armor)

the gods in tyria are a bit more complex than just one god - one prof

Quote:
The Gods of Tyria are the five gods who in the theology of humans and other advanced races created the world of Tyria. They are:

* Balthazar: God of war and fire
* Dwayna: Goddess of life and air
* Grenth: God of death and cold
* Lyssa: Goddess of beauty and illusion
* Melandru: Goddess of nature and earth
this means ele's "have" 4 gods, depending on which element they use in combat.

Like your ideas =HT=Ingram and I agree I think they will add more lvls through the other gods in future expansions. But thru Melandru why would they have to be undead rangers? Those would be more fitting in Grenths realm. I like the idea of going into a forest area where all monsters are just that animals with famous dead rangers scattered through the area offering quests.IMO

yea something like that. It was just a concept thought... We don't see too many MOBs in PvE with Charmed animals... So I was thinking that would be a interesting place to see a few. Other then hell hounds... But your right... Undead would belong in underworld. unless you think of it as they merged with nature or something like that. Similar to the Crystal Desert ghosts...

I had heard of something being drawn up for Lyssa in the past dealing with a Ruins of Orr area of the map... but either it got dropped for something else or its sitting on someones desk forgotten about. We may see it appear in the next chapter as a new bonus area. Lets hope Anyways that's why I was rather vague on that one, as I thought I seen something on that before...

Summit Rangers actually have pets, they charm the Elder Wolves up at the road from Copperheim to Granite Citadel. Think those are the only mob-pets there are, atleast that I've seen. Apparently the AI rangers will get pets, if they just are given the skill to do so, and a apropriate animal is close by.

What about having a charmable Rabbit in the area? One with nasty pointy teeth...
